Don't Pop Me Now

A bubble-popping 2D action-puzzle game created in 48 hours.

Lore:

The year is 106XX.

Ever since the incident, goblins became the rulers on planet earth.

The goblins' aggressive measures to expand and become the world power made many enemies.

The most notable are the elves.

The particular thing about goblins is their currency. 

They use bubbles.

It's been so long everyone has forgotten why.

Even the goblins don't like it because its very volatile. They often pop and become worthless.

Bubble mining became popular among the goblins as to grow their personal reserves.

The elves knew this. They had a spy.

In the 9900s, During the third Elf-Goblin war, the elves devised a plan to create harsh environmental conditions in the Teslechatn, the main bubble mine region. They did this thru a pact with one of the elders from north, Mal. 

lol, Little did they know, the goblins also made a pact with Mal. Their king sacrificed his own life to create a nameless super-soldier. The super soldier led the goblin faction to war with the elves.  The goblins were pretty victorious. 

However, the curse still loomed over the bubble mine regions, even after 100s of years since the elves were driven out of the land. 

Bubble mining is extremely dangerous.  It needs to be approached carefully as to not go too far into the bubble mining regions.

You are Tuhk, an ex military  veteran with a heart of gold. You've been to Teslachatan before. You know how to navigate and safely extract bubbles from the mine region  (relatively. Like i said before, its really dangerous). It puts food on the table, but it's also how you get your kicks. 

Go get bubbles. Extract bubbles from the mine. You are equipped with you Y67 Popper gun (thanks to your military background you get exclusive privileges to goblin weapons up to Class B) and a G11 Grow gun  (thanks to your cousin who gifted this to you. This gun is available to all citizens). Use both guns to shoot bubbles and navigate them to your extraction zones. Even though the bubbles seem to pop when they reach the goal, don't worry, they are safely extracted to a storage location.

And the reason you are purple is because you must wear a purple suit to safely enter the cursed area.
